Watch the time go by; There’s no point analysing the truth. Stuck in the game I don’t want to play; I lost myself Somewhere along the way. Running through the tunnel Towards the sense of light. Wanting to escape this maze To put the darkness out of sight. I can’t reach for your hand; It’s now cold and far away. Wishing for release; So I can see the light of day. Trying to smile, I long for you to care; How can you be happy? I wish that love was fair. Drowning in the memories But keeping my head above the ground; I’ll search my soul with all that I have; Until happiness is found. Running through the tunnel Towards the sense of light.
